Receptionist

Principle Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions
Provide administrative support to Office Manager or designee.
o Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls.
o Ensure that all visitors sign a confidentiality agreement on a daily basis.
o Responsible for daily sign in/out of all visitors
o Responsible for logging in all purchase orders into the QPSI administrator system
o Responsible for shipping out packages, and receiving & distribution of mail.
o Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
o Performs miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements
o High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
o 2 + years of switchboard experience.
o 2 + years of previous experience in office management and ability to multi-task.
o Working knowledge of mail processes such as postage machine, federal express and UPS.
o Good planning and organizational skills.
o Professional appearance and manner.
o Dependability
o Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
o Ability to take initiative, maintains confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment essential.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
