Accounting/FinanceNJ - BurlingtonOverviewResponsible for supporting Managed Services, National Account, ARC, and Shared Service Business Units of Canon Solutions America with high-level financial tasks and interactions between various divisions of Canon Solutions America and Canon USA. Responsible for analyzing and transforming business processes and financial workflows to improve financial performance and profitability by performing advanced operational activities including financial and database reporting, data audit and analysis, cost center and structure maintenance, budget formulation, transactional workflow processesing, and field support. Leads digital transformation projects to improve data visibility, communication, and workflow to increase productivity.Responsibilities- Leads digital transformation projects to improve data visibility, communication, and workflow to increase productivity.- Creates SQL queries using SQL developer to extract data directly from the databases that store information in order to analyze it more efficiently.- Utilizes Power BI as a data warehouse and to dashboard, tracks and analyzes financial data and measure KPIs.- Expands the use of Power BI to eliminate manual generation and distribution of financial reporting, improves the budget collection process, and assists with revenue forecasting.- Evaluates improvement opportunities and develops more meaningful reporting to the business.- Conducts detailed audits of P&Ls line level detail, Revenue, Cost of Sales, and SG&A Expenses to ensure accurate financial transaction processing, coding, and reporting.- Assists Accounting by identifying revenue and cost reclass activity required as a result of processing errors identified through audits.- Facilitates the eliminate of processing errors by identifying the root cause and addressing the problem at the source.- Develops additional audit processes to improve profitability.- Identifies trends and investigates variances between financial performance and budgets to determine if budget adjustments need to be made.- Tracks critical measurements and maintains financial model and KPI monitoring worksheets.- Participates in the formulation, adjustment, and distrbution of Original Budget, Operating Budget, Review Budgets, and Closing Forecasts for four Business Units within WTS.- Identifies efficiency solutions for transactional processes and workflows to improve productivity.- Supports Field Operations by researching complex financial transactions and performing account reconciliations.- Participates in special assignments and/or projects as required by management.Qualifications- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Data Science required, or 5 years of related experience.- Experience should include 3-4 years of financial analysis or data analysis experience.- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills required.- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.- Experience with Power BI platform for data visualization and analysis required- Experience with relational databases, SQL Server or other SQL environments required.- Must be able to work under pressure in a timely and accurate manner in a deadline-oriented environment.- May require extended hours during month-end close, year-end close, and budget preparation.- Occasional meeting travel may be required (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).PI055141b2c9ef-25448-33655776 Recommended Skills Analytical Business Administration Business Processes Data Analysis Data Science Data Visualization Apply to this job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
