Global Manufacturer and Leader in it's field is looking for an IT Director at their corporate headquarters in Burlington County.
The purpose of the role is to coordinate all IT activity across the company, responsible to plan, implement and deliver cost effective IT solutions globally in alignment with the business strategy & ensuring compliance with overall IT divisional strategy, security policies & standards.
This is a challenging role that demands good communication, presentation and people skills, as well as, readiness to travel and work in a global environment, understanding of Information, Process and Technical architectures avoiding the creation of inflexible or costly IT estates. General IT industry trends are necessary, as well as, program management experience, with project management training and understanding of service level agreements, out-sourcing models & shared service centres.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & deliver an overall Global IT Strategy supporting Business Strategy & CI Plans
Deploy Global IT strategy for the divisions in line with the overall Global IT strategy
Develop Global IT Budget
Lead and develop the Global IT team
Lead evaluation and decision making process for global IT solutions
Working as an IT Business partner with the Executive team
Working as an IT business partner with each regional / division leads & other functional leads
Update and delivery of the IT CI plan
Lead and support Lean business process improvement
Global IT requirements
Administer global IT requirements e.g. IT risk assessment
Ensure flow through IT is efficient and customer service oriented
Ensure global IT standards are developed and fully deployed across all regions
Deploy Group IT standards within the divisions
Support internal Know How Transfer to plants and regions
IT to be an enabler for business growth and efficiencies (e.g. synergies/consolidation/shared services)
Project Manager for special projects
Lead Global ERP knowledge & upgrade support ( BPCS to ERP LN or ERP LX or SAP)
Direct and guide major IT projects as necessary
Technology & Infrastructure
Oversee the provision of IT services over a stable and secure IT infrastructure
Take part in the drive for continued technology standardization
Review opportunities for consolidation and shared services supported by technology
Drive identification and deployment of new technologies for competitive advantage
Manage People
Develop the people and the IT organisation to support the Strategy Lead, with HR support, people resourcing, engagement and management activity for the function, including: recruitment and selection of key team members, talent identification, training and development, and managing and controlling people costs within agreed budgets.
Deploy Group / Division / Region standard HR policies and processes.
Ensure HR related issues are resolved appropriately in line with company standards and legal requirements
Develop the right framework for training and usage of IT systems
Monitoring and Reporting
Monitoring and reporting status of key systems and IT projects to Executive Team
Monitoring Global IT budget
Provide clear stakeholder management and communication of IT performance.
Global IT Team
Share best practice within the Global IT team through membership in Company
Ensure appropriate IT individuals are represented in IT Focus Groups to actively drive overall company wide IT initiatives & exposure across all divisions
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Build functional relationships
Develop close working relationships with the core members of the Global ITSC Team
Contribute to group wide IT projects and initiatives as required
IT guidance on acquisitions / divestments
Formal
Qualifications:
Degree-level education (i.e. Engineering, Computer Sciences etc.)
Educational training in APIC programs or certified as CPIM or CIRM or CSCP
IT Education with experience minimum 5 years in:
Management experience in a multi-site environment, driving global standards
Project Management including determining user requirements, defining solutions, developing work plans
People Management
ERP (preferable BPCS or Baan/ERP LN or ERP LX) in a Manufacturing Environment, including implementation
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
